Troubleshooting Eduroam Connection Issues

If you're having trouble connecting to Eduroam, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Reset Your NetID Password

  • Ensure your NetID password is up to date.
  • Visit this link to update your password.
  • Wait approximately 10 minutes after resetting your password before attempting to connect to Eduroam.

Step 2: Configure Your Device

  1. Connect to Eduroam

    • Open your device's Wi-Fi settings.
    • Select Eduroam from the available networks.
    • Enter your college email address and your new password.
  2. Trust the Network

    • If prompted, confirm the connection by selecting "Yes, connect."

Step 3: Additional Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Forget the Network

    • In your Wi-Fi settings, select Eduroam and choose the option to Forget the Network.
  2. Restart Your Device

    • After restarting, reconnect to Eduroam using your updated credentials.

Step 4: Advanced Configuration (if necessary)

For some users, additional settings may be required:

  • Identity Fields:
    • In your Wi-Fi settings, enter your college email address in both the Identity and Anonymous Identity fields.
    • Example: yourusername@ensign.edu.
